Where shall I begin. What I was able to witness with my eyes is just amazing.
The wonder of God's hand is so overwhelming and for him to give this opportunity to us. I am so blessed.
We drove to the west side of Yellowstone National Park today. The ride to the park is a short distance from the RV park. Along the highway are piles of snow. You look out into the forest and you see patches of snow. Once inside the park pine trees that seem to touch the sky. Mountain peeks that sparkle from the sun rays. Miles and miles of landscape that is untouched by man. A haven for all to see. Every twist and turn through the mountains will just take your breath away. The family's of buffaloes marching down the highway without a care and pacing themselves for the long day ahead. Roaming through the open fields and basking in the warmth of the sun. The chipmunk that poses perfectly for your camera. Eagerly awaiting a treat. The large geese prancing on the water. Many hot springs with the steam billowing towards the sky. Boiling waters of the many geysers as you peer into the crystal clear water you can almost see the center of the earth. Cascades of waterfalls so inviting and the rushing rapids begging for you to tube down. The grand finale is to witness Old Faithful, shooting straight up. Gasping in wonder. Yes, today was such a blessing, that I am thankful. This shall be a memory I want forget. We only scratched the surface and I fear the 2 weeks will not be enough.
If you have not made vacations plans I suggest you give this park serious thought you will not be disappointed. There are many RV parks, hotel chains I notice a few are pet friendly, a variety of restaurants. This place would also be a great ski vacation, a wide array of fun toys for kids and parents wanting to play in the snow. Be sure to wear good walking shoes there are many areas you can explore. Small children I suggest a stroller. Most important a camera.
May the Peace of Christ be you.

Howdie Yall!! How you doing? We are well, and we are at Island Park Idaho at Valley View R V park. Arrived about 3ish. The park still has snow on the grounds. Such a site for us southern Texans, there are about 4 rigs from Texas here. The people that checked us in are from Kemah Texas. I only thought I could go with out my make up. You just never know. Anyway we are here and set up for the next two weeks. Our plan is Yellowstone I am sure we spend several days in the park I want to see all I can. I will fill you in on all the details.
We had a great time in Salt Lake City. We visited the Mormon Tabernacle, and was able to hear about 30 min of the organ music , saw the State Capital Building, ate at a fabulous restaurant Market Street Grill a must place to eat yum yum. You can check out their web page for menu and recipes. Also visited Antelope Island, the Great Salt Lake, Olympic Park and enjoying the sights of new surroundings. We stayed at the Pony Express RV park a clean park has concrete sites, picnic tables, the spaces are narrow. Price is budget friendly. They also have a web page.
I spoke with Ms. Pat today, they are in Ky. heading to gulf shores for the memorial weekend. They will spend time with family. They are doing well and have plans to be in Creede CO. for the summer. Mary and Lannie are in IN. they have been visiting family they are having fun with grand kids. They should be back in TX this fall. We will all meet at Chili's and exchange stories.
We have already made plans with camping buddies for Oct.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
To all mothers I hope your day is GREAT.
I was awoke with my first phone call my Malissa to wish me a happy moms day. I had plan to sleep in but she forgot the time change. We chatted and got caught up on girl stuff. She is having a great time in her new location. Always on the go and already has plan for the upcoming weekend. The weather is nice and warm so that brings out the river rats. It is all about location location.
I heard from Maureen and of my GRANDSONS they are just perfect. LOL Anyway their plans, to see a Astros game, they are suppose to have seats behind home plate. Hope we can see them.
Harry made me breakfast, eggs, bacon, biscuits, he was hungry so he made enough for two. Our dinner plans are simple we are going to cook shrimp then sit back and watch the final Amazing race. Hope the mom and son win. Then I will have a glass of wine to watch the sassy Desperate Housewives I sometime can relate to their problems.
Our boomer friends called and said they were having a good weekend down on the Bayou. Friday night at T Bones Toms now that's a great place to hang out, it is our favorite place good food music and of course great drinks. That will be on my to do list in Oct. Sat. they plan to fish, have some Fresca and Patron, no telling what kind of shots they will con- cock. About the fishing always think ahead and buy. You can still have your drinks and cook your bought fish. We will all meet up in Priest Gulch CO. mid Sept. You can only imagine the tall stories around the fire. I am working on mine.
Roger and Kerry arrived home safe and sound. I hope Kerry got some sleep on the plane, she was so tired that she slept halfway through the Le Reve. It is a must see. I did see ELVIS at the Crazy Horse show and yes he still has all the right moves, for a 3foot 300lb midget. This guy rocks. He was hilarious. Don't forget your depends!!!
I suppose I have bored you all to tears. I will sit back and enjoy the rest of moms day. Harry thanks its dad day cuz he has golf on. Hmmm a nap sounds good .
Please keep Virginia Tijerinia in your prays and we have another friend she is very young women with 2 small daughters. We are told she has cancer and has been given 9 months . Your prays are needed for these two families.
May your day be filled with fun, food, and drink I think you see where this going.

Hello to all. I guess you want to know all about Vegas. Let me say fun, very hot and a night life like non other. I guess I will break the rules and let you know what happen in Vegas.
We arrived Sat. May 2nd. We had to make a detour around the Hoover Dam. We drove to Needles CA. and was stoped at the state inspection and my limes were confiscated. The detour was not bad, just an inconvenience.
We made reservation at Sam's Town R V park very nice, sites are small, pool, spa, laundry room. I will give a rating of a 7.
We picked Roger and Kerry up at the airport, we had to wait for Roger luggage, he was not too happy about that.
We took them to the Wynn Hotel which would be there home for a week. The Wynn is a great place, nice restaurants which we ate at two. The Terrace Cafe we had french onion soup, sandwiches, and a excellent bottle of Red wine. The portions was plentiful and tasty. The steak house, now that was a meal we had a 20 oz bone in Rib eye. Our side dishes Au gratin potato's, truffle cream corn and asparagus. The steaks were cooked perfect, just the right amount of seasoning, you were able to cut the steak with a fork.
I Hop was our breakfast of choice we ate there 3 or 4 mornings it is Harrys favorite place for stuffed french toast with strawberry topping. Made a day trip to the Hoover Dam and yes we took the Dam tour. We had to park on the AZ. side and walk to NV. and walk back to AZ. Always remember good walking shoes.
We then headed to Lake Mead walked around and watched families enjoying a day at the beach. Well it is not Galveston beach. We drove to Red Rock Canyon Park what a sight. All I can say is magical, the beauty is breath taking. There was several pictures stops and we did just that lots of pictures I will be sharing. However pictures will not do justice you should put this on your to do list. Afterward we visited a winery and did the tasting. We bought 4 bottles. We were able to attend 3 shows Penn & Teller good performers, after the show we had pictures made with them.
Our friend Roger was able to get on stage and assist them in a trick. Next time you see him ask for his autograph. Our next show Crazy Horse some of Las Vegas pretty show girls. The finale was the Le Reve it is a water dance. The lights, props, music, and dancers awesome. The show is well worth the price of tickets. We had great seats in front. I did not really see any bad seats.
We did a little gambling did not break any banks theirs or ours.
Roger and Kerry were in town 7 days and we had such fun entertaining and playing with them. We are moving on and heading to Utah check back for futher updates. Please put our very good friend Virginia T. on your prayer list.

On the Road Again
We had a very nice road trip today. Our drive through the mountains was very pleasant. The picture perfect scenery is just awesome all the colors, the rocks seem to float in mid air so very fascinating to admire. The country side is breathe taking. You see the landscape change almost instantly from dessert and blowing sand to tall timbers of green pines.
We have pulled in a KOA for the evening we are just about 4 hours from Vegas. Tomorrows drive should be short and sweet.
Have a good weekend may the peace of christ be with you.
Love to all
